Police searching for Durham bank robber

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Durham police are investigating a bank robbery that happened Thursday at the State Employees Credit Union on Guess Road.

Officers said shortly after 10 a.m., a suspect entered the bank and passed a note to the teller demanding money. The suspect fled in a black two-door vehicle with an undisclosed amount of money, officers said.

The suspect is a white male who stands around 5 feet 8 inches tall and has a thin build. He was wearing a grey hooded shirt and had a small goatee, police said.

There were no reports of injuries.
