FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Authorities in Fayetteville are looking for a suspect who, they say, shot a woman with a pellet gun while she was outside a downtown restaurant earlier this month.

Around 10:20 p.m. on July 7, police say a 53-year-old woman was standing outside of Charley's Pub on Person Street when she heard an air powered sound and immediately felt a sharp pain in her shoulder.

The woman was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where it was discovered that she had been shot by a pellet gun.

Detectives were able to get surveillance video that showed the suspect's vehicle as it drove along Person Street just before and after the shooting.
