FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Officials with the sheriff's office say a 17-year-old managed to flip his truck and land in the trees.
It happened on Old Vander Road in Fayetteville late Friday night.
According to officials, it appears the teen was speeding when he hit some railroad tracks. That caused the truck to go airborne and land in the trees.
It also caused some damage to the tracks
The teen was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with cuts, and he was bleeding from the head.
