3 children seriously injured in Nash Co. crash

NASH CO., N.C. (WTVD) -- A driver ran a stop sign and sent three children to the hospital, according to NC Highway Patrol.

The crash happened in Nash County on Wednesday night.

Troopers said a driver ran a stop sign on East Castalia Road near Red Road and crashed into another vehicle.

Officials said the three children were not wearing seatbelts.

Three children were ejected from the other vehicle and seriously injured.
