Accident blocks traffic on US-64

WAKE COUNTY (WTVD) -- An accident on US-64 tied up traffic during the morning commute in Wake County Tuesday.

The crash involved a tractor trailer along the westbound lanes near the Rolesville Road exit.

The Highway Patrol says two pickups and a car had slowed down because a trooper was investigating an accident, when the 18-wheeler then hit the three vehicles.

Three people were injured in the wreck, two were taken to WakeMed in unknown condition.
