Crashes, car fire tie up traffic on Interstate 40 in Durham

DURHAM (WTVD) -- A series of small accidents and a car fire tied up the end of the evening rush hour on Interstate 40 in Durham County Tuesday evening.

The massive fireball left smoky conditions across the roadway near Davis Drive.

At one point, all of the eastbound lanes were shut down.

No one was seriously hurt.
