Driver sought in hit-and-run with Raleigh police cruiser
Raleigh police are searching for the driver who collided with a police officer's patrol cruiser and another car early Friday morning.

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Raleigh police have arrested the driver who collided with a police officer's patrol cruiser and another car early Friday morning.

The accident happened just before 5:30 a.m. on St. Albans Drive at Wake Forest Road, near Interstate 440.

The third vehicle involved in the accident was last seen fleeing the scene in the southbound lanes of Wake Forest Road.

That vehicle was later found abandoned on a ramp at the interchange connecting I-440 and New Bern Avenue.

The driver, 51-year-old Atlas Antonio Kelly, was taken into custody at his house later Friday morning.

No one was hurt in the accident.

Kelly was charged with multiple offenses, including felony hit and run. He was taken to the Wake County Detention Center.
