Part of Guess Road in Durham closed after car hits power pole

DURHAM, NC (WTVD) -- A busy Durham road was closed after a car crashed into a power pole Monday.

It happened on Guess Road at Broad Street.

An ABC11 crew at the scene said a car struck the pole, causing the power lines to fall.

Two people were taken to the hospital.

Police shut down the road so crews could secure the pole and lines.
