Pickup overturns, bursts into flames on I-540 east in Wake County

WAKE COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- A pickup overturned and caught fire on I-540 east near Capital Boulevard on Friday.

Raleigh firefighters quickly extinguished the fire on what appeared to be a work truck.

Raleigh Police said the driver was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

No one else was in the truck

Traffic is congested and drivers are advised to avoid the area.
