RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Part of Glenwood Avenue was shut down Friday afternoon due to a gas leak in the area, Raleigh police said.

Traffic control officials said the leak, at 1400 Glenwood Avenue, was caused by Google Fiber contractors hitting a line.

Gas company PSNC told ABC11 it took 30 minutes to cap, which is about how long the congestion lasted.

The road is reopened to traffic.
