Truck drags power lines down in east Raleigh

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A truck dragged down some power lines on Rogers Lane on Thursday, causing traffic delays in the area.

It happened off of New Bern Avenue just before 4:30 p.m. Only five or six customers were left without power because of the accident.

Chopper 11 HD showed traffic was still moving, but one lane was closed while crews worked on the problem.

Customers were expected to have power restored by Thursday evening.
