36.1 million to travel over Memorial Day weekend

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- If you're headed out of town for the Memorial Day weekend you'll have plenty of company.

AAA estimates 36.1 million Americans will travel 50 miles or more from home.

Of those traveling for Memorial Day - 31.8 million will go by automobile and 2.6 million will fly out of town.
