2 people shot in Harnett County

HARNETT COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- Two people were transferred to the hospital Wednesday night after a shooting in Harnett County.

The shooting occurred just around 10 p.m. near the intersection of Old Church Road and Randall lane.

Harnett County Sheriff's Office said the victims were two men in their 30s. They were taken to WakeMed with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators are following leads in an effort to determine who is responsible for the shooting.
