Durham Juneteenth celebration taking place this weekend

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- ABC11 Together is highlighting the Juneteenth holiday, marking the end of slavery in the United States.

It's also a day for all Americans to learn, reflect and grow from this nation's history.

This Saturday is the 20th anniversary of North Carolina Juneteenth Celebration presented by Spectacular Magazine and Triangle Cultural Awareness Foundation.

The celebration is this Saturday from 1-8 p.m. on the campus of North Carolina Central University in the parking deck across from the track.
