General Hospital: Rick Hearst unscripted on his role as Ric Lansing

You've watched him on ABC11 for decades as Ric Lansing on General Hospital.

Rick Hearst has been with the ABC daytime drama since 2002. Through the years Hearst has taken breaks from the daytime drama. And now, he's back for his third stint, as Ric Lansing, which started in August 2024 after taking a break in 2016.

His Ric Lansing role has garnered him two Daytime Emmys (2004 and 2007) for 'Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.'

Hearst sat down with ABC11's Dearon Smith to dish on his return and to reflect on his years on the most popular daytime drama on television.
