Woman stabbed in Wake County

WAKE COUNTY (WTVD) -- Sheriff's deputies responded to reports of a stabbing in Wake County on Sunday morning.

Officials said it happened on Brad Court around 7:30 a.m.

Authorities said it was a "domestic situation," and the woman received a laceration over her eye.

Shamal Antoine Robinson, 26, was arrested Sunday in connection with the stabbing.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, deputies said.
