6 taken to hospital after Wake County wreck

WAKE COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- Highway Patrol is investigating a bad wreck in Wake County that happened late Saturday night.

Authorities said it happened around midnight on I-40 near US 70 near the Johnston County line.

Our crew on the scene said six people were injured and taken to the hospital.

It is not yet known the extent of their injuries or what caused the crash.
