WAKE FOREST (WTVD) -- The Wake Forest Police Department has arrested a teen in connection with a series of vehicle break-ins that occurred in June.
On Tuesday, officers arrested and charged 18-year-old Hudson Wells with two counts of breaking and entering a motor vehicle, larceny, and larceny of a firearm.

According to police, the incident happened on June 20 near Front Gate Lane and Heritage Arbor Drive.
Surveillance footage provided to police by a local resident was disseminated to the public which assisted in Wells' identification.
The teen is being held at the Wake County Detention Center under a $2,500 bond.
