Wake Forest sprayground closes after child tampered with equipment

WAKE FOREST, N.C. (WTVD) -- The Taylor Street Park Sprayground has closed temporarily after a child reportedly tampered with the sprayground equipment and caused it to malfunction.

The act was reported to be unintentional.

Staff is working to address the problem, but there is no timetable for when the sprayground will reopen, according to Wake Forest Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources.
