Tornadoes hit Miami
Newly release video shows a terrifyingly close look at the tornadoes that slammed in Miami, yesterday. Watch as debris is flung at cars, forcing drivers to swerve and slam on the brakes. Some even floored it to try to get out of the twister's path. One car even takes a direct hit as the tornado passes just to the right of the road.
Wind knocks over New Jersey billboard
Severe storms in New Jersey packed strong winds near Camden. This billboard was no match for the wind, which gusted to nearly 50 miles per hour. The sign came crashing down to the ground, scattering wood and metal all over the road forcing police to shut it down.
Heavy snow strands drivers on New York highway
And, what a nightmare for commuters in upstate New York. Cars and tractor trailers got stuck in heavy snow and caused a massive backup on a local highway. The road looked more like a parking lot than a freeway. Eventually plows were able to get to the roads to clear the mess, but not before many drivers ran out of gas.
