Hot and humid weather sticks around through Thursday, but a cold front will cool things down through the weekend.
Scattered showers will develop throughout the day on Wednesday. Not everyone wills see rain, but keep the rain gear handy just in case. Highs will still be warm and humid reaching the low 90s.
A cold front will approach the state Thursday sparking more showers and storms. Most of the rain will develop late Thursday afternoon and stick around through the evening hours.
Rain chances will be highest on Friday as the cold front pushes through the state. Some of the storms Friday could produce heavy rain. As rain chances go up highs will start to go down. Highs Friday will reach the mid to upper 80s.
We'll get a break from the heat this weekend as the front continues to slowly move south. Highs will drop to the low 80s and morning lows will dip down to the 60s.
The front will stall just south of the area early next week. A few showers are possible during the day and highs will stay below average reaching the lower 80s.
