Woman taken to hospital after shooting at Raleigh mini mart

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A woman was taken to the hospital after a shooting at a mini mart in Raleigh.

It happened on New Bern Avenue and North Raleigh Boulevard Sunday night.

Police said she had a small caliber shot to the stomach but her injuries are non-life threatening.

Detectives are investigating but said it did not appear to be a random act.
