Woman struck by taxi cab near downtown Durham

DURHAM, NC (WTVD) -- Durham police were called to a pedestrian accident near downtown Durham Tuesday around 11:00 a.m. after they say a woman was struck by a taxi cab while crossing the street.

Police say the woman was crossing the street at Fayetteville Street and East Lakewood Avenue when she was hit by the taxi cab.

Her condition is unknown at this time.
