YMCA bus involved in head-on crash in Raleigh

RALEIGH, North Carolina (WTVD) -- Authorities are investigating a crash involving a YMCA bus in Raleigh on Wednesday evening.

Authorities said the driver of a gray car pulled out onto Lineberry Drive and Mountain Mist Court in the Trailwood Hills neighborhood. That's near I-40 and Gorman Street, south of downtown Raleigh.

The driver pulled out onto the wrong side of the road, authorities said, and crashed head-on into the bus. Officials said 15 students were on the bus at the time of the crash, but none were injured.

Raleigh police said the driver was taken to WakeMed with non-life threatening injuries.

Police haven't said if the driver will face charges.
