Bruce Springsteen's son becomes a firefighter in NJ

JERSEY CITY, New Jersey -- The Boss's son is not following in his father's footsteps. Instead, he just became a firefighter.

Bruce Springsteen's wife confirmed the news on Instagram.



She posted that their son, Sam Springsteen, got a job with the Jersey City Fire Department.

Sam is the youngest of the couple's three children, and none of them have followed their dad into show business.
