SHARPSBURG, N.C (WTVD) -- A fire damaged a hotel Saturday night in Nash County.
It happened at about 10:30 p.m. at a Budget Inn on North Hathaway Boulevard in Sharpsburg.

Several rooms of the hotel were damaged in the fire.
Officials said no one was hurt. However, Red Cross is helping about eight people, who are now without a place to stay.

Investigators are working to learn what started the fire.
The fire chief said the cause of the fire does not seem suspicious.
