Raleigh starts new year with shooting on Capital Boulevard

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Raleigh police are ringing in the new year with a shooting investigation on Capital Boulevard.

Police responded to the 3300 block of Capital Blvd. just before 3 a.m. Sunday.

Authorities said people in two separate cars got into an argument and started shooting at a red light.

Police said the victim pulled into Adventure Landing's nearby parking lot before he was taken to WakeMed with non-life threatening injuries.

Officers did not say if there had been any arrests.
