Chapel Hill Police arrest break-in suspect

CHAPEL HILL, North Carolina (WTVD) -- A Chapel Hill man was arrested after a breaking and entering Wednesday afternoon.

Officers were called to the 2500 block of Buxton Court shortly after noon.

Police said Stephen Ryan Rafferty was found walking west on Weaver Dairy Road near Silo Drive about an hour after the crime.

Rafferty was charged with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny and felony possession of stolen goods.

Rafferty was placed in the Orange County Jail under a $25,000 secured bond.
