DURHAM (WTVD) -- You can step back in time this week and experience a circus like never before. Circus 1903 is now playing at the Durham Performing Arts Center through Sunday, October 1.
Circus 1903 is largely a tribute to the tradition P.T. Barnum started in 1875. The show features death-defying acts from 17 countries. Cirus 1903 also features two elephants, but these elephants are not live animal, but puppets operated by three puppeteers.
The creators of Circus 1903 call it "The Most Amazing Show on Earth."
