"I just got hurt, but I was calm, but I just got a little brave," Jeannie Sue laughed as told her class what happened.
Jeannie suffered a broken leg and bruised liver December 8 in the incident. She underwent an intense surgery.

"Christmas will be the most appreciative and grateful Christmas that we've ever had," Susan said. "I couldn't ask for a better present than this little girl sitting beside me. She's been my joy, she's given me strength. Just to see how strong she's been has helped make me stronger."
Jeannie Sue is walking with a walker, but won't be able to return to class until the New Year.
