Saturday, the sheriff's office said 58-year-old Don Antonio Flournoy was the man killed.
The investigation started after deputies responded to calls about a shooting in the 2400 block of Elcar Drive off of Crystal Springs Road just after 8 p.m. Deputies found Flournoy with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators said they are looking for two people in connection to the shooting.
Detectives said they are hoping to speak with Zachary Maurice Richardson, 34, of Fayetteville, and Brittany Lynn Moore, 32, of Hope Mills, about the shooting.
