The Vazquez house is no longer a home. The family is still in shock at losing everything they own in just one day, including their three pet Chihuahuas.

"Junk and debris is all that's left of the home. There's ashes and cinders. That's all," said Eric Vazquez. "We salvaged some pictures today."

The family told ABC 11 they barely got any sleep overnight as they slept in a family member's home. They've been worried about what's next, but ABC11 Together viewers answered the call to action.
"People have been donating stuff all day for us. For my baby girl and my sons, giving us toys and food," Vazquez said.
Even while our cameras were rolling, several good Samaritans opened their hearts and wallets, showing up to donate clothes and household items. One man dropped off a bed and box spring.

"Me and my sister have never really wanted a handout. It's hard to ask for it, but in times like this you have to," said Heather Jones, whose sister lived in the house.

According to Jones, the phone has been ringing off the hook all day. Strangers have pulled together for the family, who will live with Jones until further notice.
They are grateful and humbled by the continuous outpouring of support from the community.
"God bless all of them," Vazquez said.
