Driver killed in Friday morning Fayetteville crash identified

FAYETTEVILLE, North Carolina (WTVD) -- The Fayetteville Police Department says a man was killed early Friday morning in a single-vehicle crash on Hoke Loop Road.

Investigators said the car was headed along Hoke Loop Road around 4 a.m. when it left the road and hit a utility pole.

The driver, 29-year-old Michael Bethea, was pronounced dead at the scene.
