Police responded to the collision on the 1700 block of Owen Drive. Larrie McKinnon was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. McKinnon was 71 years old.
The crash happened around 4 a.m., according to Fayetteville police. The vehicle involved was a 2018 Nissan Altima.
