FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) -- A serious crashed killed three people and injured one other in Fayetteville on Saturday.
The crash happened on Murchison Road and Harbour Road just after 5 p.m. According to police, a Nissan pick-up truck traveling on the westbound side of Murchison Road crossed over into the path of a Mercedes driving in the eastbound lanes.

The driver of the Nissan Stephen May, 38, and two passengers in the Mercedes, Martell Jones, 52, and Timothy Bradshaw, 64, all died in the crash.
The driver of the Mercedes Benz was taken to Cape Fear Valley Hospital and is listed in critical condition.

Murchison Road from Country Club Road to Shaw Mill Road has since reopened.
