Fayetteville police ID, search for person of interest in fatal shooting

FAYETTEVILLE, North Carolina (WTVD) -- Fayetteville police have named a person of interest they believe may have fatally shot a man Monday night.

The incident happened about 8:30 p.m. in the area of North Street near Blueberry Place.

When officers got there, they found 17-year-old Antonio Jeremiah Styles with gunshot injuries lying near the basketball court along North Street.

Officers performed CPR on Styles, but he was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives with the FPD Homicide Unit have identified 22-year-old Tykell Lamarr Hall as the person of interest and need help locating him.
