Police said the fire broke out Wednesday afternoon in the 6000 block of Dalton Road.
Upon entering the house, firefighters located the deceased.
The fire was quickly located and extinguished; crews are continuing to monitor hot spots.
Authorities have yet to release information about the victim's identity or cause of the fire.
