The manager at a truck stop said the scalding was at the hands of a disgruntled employee.
She was allegedly upset with him and other bosses after a meeting about her work.
He said she stormed off and came back shortly after with hot water in hand.
The victim suffered second-degree burns but said he forgives his attacker.
