Assuming all goes according to plan, the five-story project will rest on the corner of W. Lenoir and S. West streets in downtown Raleigh.
Fairweather is said to be the first luxury condo project in downtown Raleigh since before the recession. Lee Norris with Greymont Development told ABC11 the project will be, "Classic - that will stand out for years to come."
The one, two, and three-bedroom homes will cost anywhere from $300,000 to $600,000. Homeowners interested in a fifth-floor penthouse suite can expect to dish out between $700,000 and $1 million.
"We have tried really hard to have some great architecture," Norris said.

The condos will also feature unparalleled views of downtown Raleigh.
"That's really the killer view, the downtown Raleigh view," said Katharine Van Leer, who works at a marketing firm next door to where the Fairweather will be.
"The higher prices bring kind of a more gentrified crowd that's interested in a bunch of things," she said.
Two abandoned homes in the 500 block of S. West Street and the old Motor Parts Warehouse building will be torn down to make way for the Fairweather.

"I think it only adds value to this area. The vibrant community that's developing ... you know, we're excited about having (The Fairweather) next door," Van Leer said.
Norris told ABC11 the Fairweather will begin taking reservations starting next week with contracts for homeowners going out in early November.
Norris also hopes for construction crews to break dirt on the project in early 2018 and expects homeowners to move in at the start of 2019.
