It happened just before 1 p.m. at a Discount Mart on the 3000 block of Fayetteville Street.
Police say when they arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
DPD has not revealed if they have a lead on the shooter.
Police did say this appears to be an isolated incident.
