WADE, N.C. (WTVD) -- Deputies with the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office are conducting a double homicide investigation after responding to an overdose Saturday night.
The investigation started when officers were dispatched, around 9:52 p.m., to a 911 call about an overdose in the 5600 block of Sambo Jackson Road in Wade. Deputies arrived on the scene and instead found two adults dead from gunshot wounds, a news release states.
