No foul play suspected after NC Wesleyan student found dead in dorm

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. (WTVD) -- North Carolina Wesleyan College canceled classes for the remainder of the week after a student was found dead Thursday morning.

Rocky Mount Police said a sophomore student was found dead just before 9 a.m. in their residence hall room.

On Sept. 7, Rocky Mount officials said no foul play was suspected and identified the student as Matthew Clemmons, 19.

Officials said Clemmons passed away from an underlying medical condition.
