Body found in Neuse River, Lenoir County officials say

LENOIR COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- A body was found in the Neuse River in Lenior County on Saturday morning, officials said.

Interim director of Lenoir County Emergency Services Jerri King said the body was found near the King Street boat landing.

The body has been sent to the medical examiner for identification, King said.
