"Hearing all the stuff that he had like choking stuff and brass knuckles and the rifles and the chainsaws it's like what is this guy thinking?" Bilyana Garland, a senior at North Carolina A&T told ABC affiliate WXLV. "Who is he trying to hurt? It's scary to think that somebody could have been a victim of whatever he was trying to do."
Law enforcement in Guilford County has not released any other details about his alleged intentions or any possible threat to NC A&T, the largest Historically Black College and University in the country.
Bentley's bond was set at $100,000.
A North Carolina A&T spokesperson told WXLV that because Bentley was immediately arrested and there was no ongoing threat to campus, an Aggie Alert was not issued.
