DURHAM (WTVD) -- Durham police said a 19-year-old man was driven to Duke Hospital after he was shot near the intersection of Laurel Oaks Drive and Cornwallis Road on Thursday.
Authorities told ABC11 the shooting happened around 5 p.m. The victim is said to have serious injuries.

Our crew on the scene said the car that brought the victim to the hospital had its windows shot out.
Police have not released information on possible suspects.
