A federal grand jury in Greenville returned a 10-count indictment against Elisa Marie Rosario, 33, Jeremy Todd Lark, 42, and Kezayvian Lee Campbell, 19.
The defendants face a range of serious charges, including robbery affecting interstate commerce, kidnapping resulting in death, using a firearm during a violent crime, and obstruction of justice.
Investigators say victim was lured to casino
According to the indictment, the group allegedly carried out a plan in June 2025 to rob a man of money, jewelry, a cellphone, and a rented vehicle.
Prosecutors say the victim was enticed to travel from South Carolina to Harrah's Cherokee Casino in North Carolina under the pretense of meeting Rosario for a date.
Authorities say the suspects had firearms, gloves, and masks as they prepared for the trip.

Investigators allege that after the victim arrived at the casino in the morning hours, Rosario convinced him to leave.
After stopping at a nearby convenience store, the victim was driven to another location where the other suspects joined him in the vehicle, according to the indictment.
The suspects are accused of taking the victim about 12 miles into Sylva, North Carolina, where they robbed him and shot him, resulting in his death.
Authorities later found the victim's body and a burning rental car in a wooded area in Spartanburg County, South Carolina.

Prosecutors say the defendants also allegedly tried to destroy evidence, including burning the vehicle and discarding the victim's belongings.
The case is being investigated by federal and local agencies.
