DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- After a three-year run, Durham's Little Bull restaurant is moving.

The acclaimed dining spot is headed to a larger space in downtown Durham.

According to our newsgathering partners at the News and Observer, the restaurant will reopen Aug. 3 at 301 Chapel Hill St.

The modern Mexican restaurant from James Beard semifinalist chef Oscar Diaz debuted in 2023 on Mangum Street.

"We decided we had to move it," Diaz said in a phone interview with the N&O earlier this year. "We're so proud of what we've been able to do there."

Little Bull quickly earned wide praise and was recently named a Michelin-recommended restaurant.

The restaurant has not said when the Mangum Street location will close.
