Girl who was abducted in Greensboro found safe, AMBER Alert canceled

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WTVD) -- An Amber Alert has been issued for a child who was taken in Greensboro

According to the Greensboro Police Department, officers responded around 6:45 a.m. to call about a missing girl on Belmont Street.

Police say Kamora Thomas was last seen around 4:43 p.m. on Monday.

Investigators say Kamora Thomas is 11 years old and stands at 5'1" and weighs about 150 pounds. She had black and green ponytail braid. Thomas was wearing a white graphic tee, pink pajama pants, and black slippers with jewels on them.

Kamora Thomas was abducted by an unknown woman who was driving an orange Jeep Wrangler with a Georgia license plate; number on the plate is ETL069.



Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is asked to call the Greensboro Police Department at 336-373-2287.
