AMBER Alert issued for 2 missing children in Brunswick County, deputies say

SOUTHPORT, N.C. (WTVD) -- Authorities have issued a North Carolina AMBER Alert as deputies search for two missing children in Brunswick County who are believed to be in danger.

According to the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office, 9-year-old Chance Tyler Wilcox and 11-year-old Wyatt Christopher Mark Wilcox were reported missing early Friday morning.

Chance Wilcox is described as a white male who is about 4 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 230 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Wyatt Wilcox is described as a white male who is about 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighs 250 pounds. He also has brown hair and brown eyes.

Investigators believe the children are with 35-year-old Brandon Mark Wilcox. He is described as a white male, about 6 feet 3 inches tall and 195 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Deputies said the group was last known to be in the 4400 block of Sweet Bay Drive in Southport.



Authorities have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding the alert but say the children are considered endangered.
