Former McDonald's worker took photos of customers' bank cards to steal info, Burlington police say

BURLINGTON, N.C. (WTVD) -- A McDonald's worker in Alamance County was charged with stealing credit card numbers from various customers.

The incidents happened at the fast-food restaurant at 1904 W. Webb Ave. in the Glen Raven area.

Burlington Police said that between Aug. 25 and Sept. 2, Jacari Davonn Bunting, 19, allegedly took pictures of customers' cards at the drive-through and planned to use them later.

Bunting, of Graham, was charged with 26 counts of identity theft.

He was also fired from his job.

Police said the case remains under investigation and there may be additional victims.



The Graham Police Department assisted throughout the investigation.
